She has designed transitional shelters for refugees and was invited to present her work at the Symposium for the Architecture of Disaster Relief. Din has a Masters in Architecture with High Distinction from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Virginia. After a decade working in architecture, Din made a career shift into documentary filmmaking as a director and producer of CLARKSTON, which is set to premiere in the fall of 2021. Her first independent feature documentary, IMBA MEANS SING, aired worldwide on Netflix, Delta Studio, and all major VOD platforms. Her most recent film, CLARKSTON (working title) is scheduled to premiere this fall. Prior to independent filmmaking, Erin served in the Peace Corps in Madagascar, worked as a Writer/Producer at CNN, and as the Director of Engagement for Points of Light, President George. H. W. Bush’s foundation.
